  • About pre-visit online health inquiry

Once your appointment is made, you will be guided to complete an online health inquiry form prior to your visit.

The pre-visit online health inquiry not only reduces your time in the clinic but also provides a more relaxed environment for you to recall and record details that might be forgotten during a face-to-face meeting with a physician. This helps ensure that no important symptoms or information about your health are missed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONSFAQ

Can I make a reservation for a first-time visit?

Yes, reservations are available. You can book any time as reservations can be made 24 hours a day. Please choose your preferred date and time from our reservation calendar.

I have a fever; can I still visit? Could I get tested for COVID-19?

We treat patients with fever. During peak fever periods, we separate the consultation times for patients with and without fever. We offer rapid antigen tests for COVID-19, which use a nasal swab and provide results in about 15 minutes.

Can I use my My Number insurance card?

We are currently setting up the "Online Eligibility Verification" system that allows the use of My Number Cards as health insurance cards. Specifically, we are waiting for the completion of the setup by our communications system provider. Once the setup is complete, we will announce it on our clinic's website.

Can I visit without a reservation?

You can visit without a reservation if there is availability. However, priority is given to those with reservations. To minimize your wait time, we recommend making a reservation in advance. Reservations can be made online up to 30 minutes before the appointment time.

Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our clinic is wheelchair accessible, and we have a wheelchair-accessible restroom on the third floor.

From what age do you accept child patients?

We generally cater to school-aged children and older. However, please note that our clinic primarily focuses on internal medicine and rheumatology, and there may be cases we cannot handle medically or due to capacity. Please call us first to check if we can accommodate your needs before making an appointment.

Is there parking nearby?

There is no dedicated parking at the medical building where our clinic is located. While there are coin-operated parking lots nearby, finding a space can be challenging.

Where is the nearest pharmacy?

Saera Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the building housing our clinic.

How and until when can I change or cancel a reservation?

Changes and cancellations can be made online up to 30 minutes before the appointment time. After that, please contact us by phone. Please note that if you cancel twice in a row, we may decline future treatments. Please choose a date and time when you are certain you can attend.

Can I pay with credit cards or electronic payments?

Our clinic accepts various credit cards, electronic money, and smartphone payments. Web payments are also available; we will charge the credit card you registered after your visit, allowing you to leave without waiting for the bill.

Can I have a health check-up or screening?

Our clinic offers comprehensive health examinations and specific screenings. Health examinations are preventive and can be either mandated by law or voluntarily chosen by individuals. Screenings are targeted to detect specific diseases early, such as cancer screenings.

Can I have an online consultation?

We offer online consultations, as authorized by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Reservations can be made via the web or phone.

Can I get vaccinated?

We provide various vaccinations. To ensure vaccine availability, please make an appointment at least four business days in advance (e.g., if booking on Friday, the earliest appointment should be the following Wednesday). If vaccines are not available when you visit, we will contact you by phone. Changes or cancellations to vaccination appointments must be made by phone. Currently, the supply of measles-rubella vaccines (MR vaccines) is uncertain, and rubella vaccines alone are available. Please call us for these.

Can I get a prescription without a consultation?

It is legally prohibited to prescribe medication without a consultation under the Medical Practitioners' Act. At our clinic, we strictly adhere to the law and require a face-to-face consultation before prescribing any medication. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
